NAT Trace

This is a small program that will test your internet connection to see if it's suitable for playing Supreme Commander.  If it finds any problems it will attempt to provide suggestions on what can be done to make things work. It also lets you save a report for sending to others to help with fault assistance.

It's provided in the hope that it will be useful to you, but if it is the cause of fires, alien invasions, death of cute furry animals or any other problems whatsoever, then I disclaim all responsibility.  In practise it's a small program that tries to be as unobtrusive as possible so hopefully none of this will happen (my girlfriend likes cute furry animals).

The program requires .NET 2.0 to run.  But so does GPGNet, so this should cause you no problems.

News: NATTrace has been updated to version 1.01 in honour of SupCom's release. It now checks the new ports that the retail version of SupCom uses (30350 and 30351).

Experimental support has also been added for obtaining more information about certain NAT problems: NAT failures will now show either as "NAT detected", or as "NAT detected, direct OK", depending on whether you have port forwarding on your router set up to support it.
